Supplied the laboratory animal species to fulfill various internal as well as outside demand for facilitating research, education and production of biologiicals. Over the last five years, we are supplying around 3500 Mice, 3500 Rats, 500 Rabbits and 450 Guinea Pigs annually. Also, developed an Angora strain of Rabbit at this section. Provided training about laboratory animal practices to various trainees registered with IVRI for degree and diploma courses.
