Major Activities
Research:
As per the mandate of the Institute. Major thrust areas include identification and validation of herbal drugs for veterinary use, environmental toxicity, Disease prevention and therapy, Metabolic and Production diseases, Wild and Captive animal Medicine and Mineral Deficiency Diseases.
Teaching:
Provides facilities for Master and Doctoral Degree in Veterinary Medicine and teaching support to LPM.
Services:
Provides health coverage to all animals of IVRI, OPD services at Referral Polyclinic, IVRI, and veterinary expertise to wild and Captive animals thorough CZA.
Extension:
Provides health expertise to Joint Directorate of Extension through participating all activities, Kisan Mela, Health camps, Kisan Call Center.
